We are in search of a Chief Operations Strategist.

In this executive role, you will be instrumental in steering the manufacturing, quality assurance, facilities management, continuous improvement, and supply chain operations.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), your mission will be to cultivate operational excellence, establish efficient processes, and scale production to accommodate increasing demand.

Your key objectives will include achieving delivery timelines, managing costs, ensuring quality, and enhancing customer satisfaction while nurturing a top-tier operations team.


Key Responsibilities:

Build and Lead a High-Performing Operations Team:
Strategically design and execute staffing, training, and talent development programs to cultivate a skilled operations workforce.
Formulate strategies and frameworks to meet delivery, cost, quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement objectives.
Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation within the operations department.

Ensure Operational Excellence:
Take charge of all facets of quality assurance, testing, facilities management, continuous improvement, and supply chain operations.
Supervise board and system-level builds, ensuring compliance with stringent quality standards.
Establish clear performance metrics to guarantee operational targets are achieved or surpassed.
Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to boost efficiency and overall effectiveness.

Motivate and Develop the Operations Team:
Lead by example, inspiring and motivating a diverse workforce while fostering a positive organizational culture.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to elevate team members' skills and capabilities.
Encourage a culture of employee engagement, collaboration, and ongoing learning.

Drive Performance and Achieve Strategic Goals:
Work closely with key stakeholders to align operational strategies with overarching business objectives.
Regularly assess performance, analyze data, and implement corrective measures to ensure goal attainment.

Oversee Manufacturing and Testing Operations:
Manage all manufacturing and testing activities within the facility, from SMT board builds to system-level assemblies.
Provide clear direction, support, and guidance to supervisory personnel and indirect reports.
Champion process improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting high-quality outputs.

Financial Management and Cost Control:
Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and cost management strategies for the operations division.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding production versus procurement.

Customer-Centric Approach:
Maintain a flexible, customer-focused mindset, ensuring that operations align with client needs and expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Science, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 15 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.

Experience with systems-level builds is preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of electronics manufacturing techniques, production planning, procurement, and subcontract management.
Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar manufacturing budgets and facilities.
Strong expertise in quality assurance and supply chain management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting operational targets.
Ability to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Minimal travel required.
