Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist to join our team at Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA. As a Chemist, you will play a vital role in conducting routine laboratory procedures within our top-notch quality control laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine testing of samples according to established procedures and protocols.
  • Operate laboratory instruments independently, preparing solutions, suspensions, and media as needed.
  • Record data, perform calculations, evaluate, and report results, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Follow all data integrity guidelines, good laboratory practices, and good documentation practices.
  • Prioritize workload, manage multiple priorities, and meet scheduled timelines.
  • Inform supervisors of equipment and supply needs to avoid delays in testing.
  • Follow all testing procedures, operating procedures, GMPs, and safety and health requirements.
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping practices and safe handling of hazardous materials and waste.
  • Conduct laboratory investigations as needed, including assisting in the evaluation of others' work.
  • Train other analysts on testing procedures and periodically perform duties of a higher position for training and development.
Requirements
  • 3-7 years of experience in the food, pharmaceutical, and/or supplement industry.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting the dietary supplement and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing business.
  • Experience with at least two analytical instrumentation types, such as HPLC, UPLC, UPLC-MS, GC, GC-MS, ICP-OES, or ICP-MS.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline with extensive significant experience.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with PC programs applicable to data generation and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, strong organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
