Role Responsibilities
This role is focused on cultivating and expanding sales of Masco Cabinetry products within designated Home Depot locations in the Metro NJ/PA area, aiming to achieve and surpass sales targets and store growth metrics.
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with store staff to drive sales and enhance growth.
- Conduct regular visits to stores as deemed necessary by the Sales Director.
- Encourage store personnel to recommend Masco Cabinetry products to their customers.
- Provide training and support to store staff, educating them on our product offerings and marketing initiatives, both in-store and off-site.
- Proactively resolve product, warranty, and service concerns, ensuring clear communication with all involved parties.
- Maintain and refresh product displays in showrooms.
- Analyze sales data and formulate tactical and strategic plans to meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Review and manage the monthly budget, providing a quarterly business plan for accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of sales experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts related to sensitive or complex issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with external clients.
- Demonstrated success in building positive relationships and collaborating with various teams and customers.
- Excellent project management and budgeting skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and effectively without daily oversight.
- Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and quarterly beyond.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in retail sales or the cabinetry industry.
- Ability to interpret and analyze sales reports.
- Skill in building and maintaining relationships with in-store designers.
