Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at a reputable clinic in the Waterbury, CT area. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional support to our healthcare professionals, and delivering outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including scheduling and data entry.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, procedures, and tests for patients.
- Process and verify insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized waiting area, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
