Job Title: Financial Management Chief

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead our Portfolio Management team at BW Services. Our firm provides bespoke credit solutions to mid-market companies facing various challenges or requiring financial support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor a diversified portfolio of middle-market companies post-investment, from deal closing to exit.
  • Oversee covenant compliance, financial reporting, and ongoing credit analysis of portfolio companies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with portfolio company management teams, acting as a trusted advisor and problem solver.
  • Identify and manage potential portfolio company risks and actively work to mitigate them.
  • Lead and mentor a team of portfolio management professionals (preferred).
  • Contribute to the broader investment strategy and credit committee discussions.

Requirements:

  • Years of experience in private debt underwriting or portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of middle-market debt investments.
  • In-depth knowledge of credit analysis, portfolio management, and workout strategies.
  • Strong understanding of middle-market company dynamics and financial structures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
