Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounting operations, including day-to-day accounting transactions, accounts payable, and preparation of periodic financial reports.
  • Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance on professional development.
  • Develop and implement financial systems and processes to support current and future growth, while ensuring the accuracy of financial results.
  • Collaborate with program and clinical practice leaders to provide financial information and support program operations.
  • Assist the Chief Financial Officer in preparation and presentation of financial information and materials to the Board of Directors and the Audit and Finance Committee.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA or advanced degree, such as an MBA, is a plus.
  • 12+ years' experience in finance and accounting, with 7+ years in a leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience managing the annual audit process.
  • Proven track record of implementing and improving financial systems, with exceptional presentation and communication skills.
