**Job Summary:**

CEI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychologist to join our team. As a Forensic Psychologist, you will be responsible for performing court-ordered evaluations, including competency to stand trial, mental status at the time of alleged offense, diminished capacity, and commitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform court-ordered forensic evaluations, including competency to stand trial, mental status at the time of alleged offense, diminished capacity, and commitability.
  • Document contacts in the medical record and submit forensic conference reports to the court in a timely manner.
  • Complete appropriate risk assessment instruments and psychological assessments as needed.
  • Evaluate commitability and complete Certificates of Need for involuntary care and treatment as needed.
  • Patients adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity will be seen regularly, and contacts will be documented.
  • May be subpoenaed to testify in court regarding findings of the forensic evaluation.

**Requirements:**

  • Doctorate in psychology from an accredited university.
  • Licensure or temporary permit as a psychologist with the State of Tennessee.
  • Certification by TDMHSAS's Division of Planning, Research, and Forensics to perform forensic evaluations.

**Work Environment:**

  • Full-time position.
  • 37.50 hours per week.
  • 8 hour shift.
  • Day shift.
  • Monday to Friday.
