Job Title: Clinical PsychologistJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at US Main. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for performing court-ordered forensic evaluations, including competency to stand trial, mental status at the time of alleged offense, diminished capacity, and commit ability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough forensic evaluations, including psychological assessments and risk assessments.
- Document contacts in the medical record and submit forensic conference reports to the court in a timely manner.
- Evaluate commit ability and complete Certificates of Need for involuntary care and treatment as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address the needs of patients adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.
Requirements:
- Doctorate in psychology from an accredited university.
- Licensure or temporary permit as a psychologist with the State of Tennessee.
- Certification by TDMHSAS's Division of Planning, Research, and Forensics to perform forensic evaluations.
