Role Overview: The Human Resources Specialist will be integral in overseeing payroll operations, talent acquisition, recruitment initiatives, and employee relations. This position will also encompass various administrative tasks, including documentation and clerical support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, a robust understanding of HR functions, and familiarity with Paycor.
Core Responsibilities:
Payroll Oversight:
- Manage and supervise all payroll functions, ensuring timely and precise compensation.
- Address payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries related to payroll matters.
- Experience with Paycor is essential.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee the complete recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Formulate and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ascertain staffing requirements and facilitate a seamless recruitment experience.
Employee Relations Management:
- Act as a primary contact for employee questions and concerns.
- Facilitate the resolution of employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Ensure adherence to labor regulations and organizational policies.
Administrative Support:
- Conduct various administrative tasks, including filing, record maintenance, and general office assistance.
- Support additional HR and administrative functions as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Human Resources, emphasizing payroll, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in Paycor or comparable HR/payroll software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately.
