Job Summary

The HR Shared Services Specialist is a key member of the HR team, responsible for providing exceptional support to employees and managers across the organization. This role requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues related to policies, benefits, employment, payroll, and time-off balances.
  • Provide accurate explanations of individual time-off balances, timesheets, benefits, and other HR-related information to employees.
  • Escalate issues as needed to the appropriate HR partner through ServiceNow.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company policies to provide guidance to employees and managers on compliance and consistency.
  • Liaise with various HR functions to resolve employee and manager issues, including benefits, leave of absence, compensation, recruiting, training, business partners, HRIS, and payroll.
  • Provide administrative support to all areas of Human Resources.
  • Follow up with employees and managers on incomplete processes, resolution of HR and benefit issues, and timesheet discrepancies.
  • Provide strong customer service with an empathetic tone.
  • Prepare, copy, and distribute employee materials.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent relevant Human Resource Generalist experience.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, and other Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Ability to respect the confidential nature of the environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • ServiceNow and Workday experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, customer service orientation, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
