This role involves collaborating with a group of accomplished professionals to devise innovative financing strategies aimed at addressing intricate and often distinctive challenges faced by local enterprises with annual revenues ranging from $5 million to $150 million.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the bank's financial services to various businesses. Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting and evaluating financial information to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients.
- Providing secured financing options to support business growth, acquisitions, and debt restructuring for both new and existing clients, with the objective of driving revenue and improving the bank's overall profitability.
- Working closely with the credit team to establish and negotiate the terms of credit, including costs, repayment methods, and collateral requirements.
Additionally, the role requires:
- Engaging in proactive outreach and maintaining relationships with sponsor groups, financial intermediaries, businesses, accountants, attorneys, and other influential contacts.
- Developing and sustaining a comprehensive database of potential clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Marketing is preferred.
- A strong grasp of commercial depository services.
- Exceptional credit assessment skills and a general understanding of commercial documentation.
