Position Overview:


We are in search of an Animal Care Technician to enhance our team and ensure exceptional service to our patients. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced veterinary staff, assisting in various clinical tasks and supporting the daily operations of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
- Assist veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians during appointments and procedures.
- Prepare animals for surgical interventions and assist during minor operations.
- Safely restrain animals and ensure their comfort during examinations.
- Accurately record vital signs and medical histories, communicating any changes to the veterinary team.
- Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing.
- Maintain and care for medical equipment and supplies essential for clinic operations.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients regarding their pets' health updates.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with veterinary procedures and animal handling techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
