Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our team at Pinnacle Home Care. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for supporting the Controller in managing the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights, and create reports to support decision-making.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business strategy.
  • Accounting Operations
    • Supervise the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, cash application, and bank reconciliation.
    • Oversee the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
    • Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
    • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
    • Assist in the implementation of new accounting software or systems, as needed.
    • Develop and update accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
