We are seeking a motivated individual with a collaborative spirit to take on the role of Operations Team Leader.

In this pivotal position, you will excel in organizing and streamlining our stockroom operations. As the Operations Team Leader, you will contribute significantly to our merchandise presentation. With a positive attitude and a knack for creativity, you will adapt swiftly to changing circumstances. Supporting the Assistant Store Leader, Operations, and the Assistant Store Leader, Visual, you will guide, plan, and oversee the efforts of the merchandising and stock team, adjusting your focus and scheduling as necessary to implement visual strategies effectively. Your role will ensure that our sales floor is consistently well-stocked and ready for customers. Additionally, you will maintain an organized and efficient stockroom environment.

Daily Responsibilities of the Operations Team Leader

  • Lead a designated functional team and manage associate tasks in collaboration with the Assistant Store Leader.
  • Mentor associates to achieve exceptional performance while maintaining a strong presence in the work area.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Store Leader to educate and develop associates on product knowledge, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Stay informed about new store initiatives and effectively communicate changes to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Focus on driving sales and maintaining awareness of product availability both in-store and out of stock.
  • Analyze KPI results with Assistant Store Leaders to identify areas for improvement and necessary actions.
  • Regularly communicate with the relevant Assistant Store Leader to discuss business outcomes, execution of strategies, customer feedback, and associate performance.
  • Ensure that all customers receive prompt and courteous service by setting clear expectations and modeling exemplary behaviors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A keen sense of personal style with a passion for design and home furnishings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or retail.
  • Full-Time candidates should have flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Part-Time candidates should be available to work on weekends and at least one weekday or evening.
