Media Works is seeking a Digital Advertising Specialist with 1-3 years of experience. We are a dynamic and reputable integrated marketing agency based in Baltimore, MD, with over 35 years of experience serving a diverse clientele.

Position Summary:

This role is integral to the daily management, development, and enhancement of SEM campaigns. The successful candidate will focus on boosting site visibility, click-through rates, and conversion rates for our clients. Responsibilities include planning and executing SEM campaigns from inception to completion, which involves creating budget forecasts, conducting keyword research, performing competitive analysis, and monitoring campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize SEM, GDN, and YouTube campaigns aligned with client objectives, including strategic rationale, keyword research, campaign execution, and budget forecasting.
  • Conduct weekly diagnostics to ensure the accuracy and completeness of SEM data.
  • Collaborate with account teams on updates to flow charts and media pacing.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors/platforms related to SEM, including RFPs, meetings, and negotiations.
  • Assist in building scheduled reports for SEM components of campaigns in collaboration with the Datorama Manager.
  • Generate insights and optimizations for SEM reports and campaigns, sharing findings with Account Managers.
  • Work with the Media Works Tech team to implement tagging strategies and conduct ongoing quality assurance.
  • Oversee the quality assurance process post-launch, ensuring proper pacing, troubleshooting, and invoicing.
  • Provide insights into optimizing client landing pages and enhancing the customer journey.
  • Collaborate across teams and offer support for various marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Create and manage SEM templates utilized throughout the agency.
  • Stay connected with Google to keep clients informed about SEM developments and trends.
  • Oversee ad copywriting as requested by clients.
  • Develop a relationship with the agency's Google representative to share updates and information with agency teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics.
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools.
  • Datorama experience is a plus.
  • E-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.

Work Arrangement:

A hybrid work schedule is available for Maryland residents; non-Maryland residents may apply for this role as fully remote.
