Position Overview:
The individual in this role will deliver nursing services that encompass direct patient care, comprehensive assessments, and the formulation of nursing care plans. The position involves overseeing and evaluating the care provided by certified nursing assistants and maintaining regular communication with residents, families, and various healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver or assess direct nursing care.
- Develop, implement, and review nursing care plans.
- Provide health education and guidance to individuals and groups.
- Foster effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid Delaware Registered Nurse license or a multi-state compact license. Additional qualifications vary based on the level of the position:
- Registered Nurse I: Must have a valid nursing license.
- Registered Nurse II: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or one year of nursing experience.
- Registered Nurse III: Requires two years of nursing experience or a higher degree in Nursing.
Additional Information:
All candidates must undergo a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check. This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
