Job Summary

The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse I-III to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer treatments as directed and take and record vital signs.
  • Pour, administer, chart, and record medications, as well as give prescribed intramuscular and subcutaneous injections and inoculations.
  • Observe patient behavior and condition and report changes to appropriate staff.
  • Record information on patients' charts.
Requirements
  • Possession of a Delaware Practical Nurse license, Delaware temporary license, or multi-state compact license.
  • At least six months experience as a Practical Nurse for Licensed Practical Nurse II and at least eighteen months experience as a Practical Nurse for Licensed Practical Nurse III.
