Job Title: Simulator/Aircraft Mechanic I

Job Summary:

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Simulator/Aircraft Mechanic I to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining flight simulator individual assemblies, assisting in the preparation of assigned bays, and supporting trainer modification and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install flight simulator individual assemblies: Install control linkages, throttle alignment, consoles, cabinets, fuselage components, electric, hydraulic motion system actuators.
  • Assist in bay preparation: Lay out and drill a motion pad, install adapter plates, and assemble computer flooring to receive computer cabinets if required.
  • Support trainer modification and upgrades: Assist in-house and at customer sites with trainer modification and upgrades.
  • Relocate commercial or military training devices: Support relocation of commercial or military training devices domestically or overseas.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree.
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience in aircraft structural repair or flight simulator assembly.
  • Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations with other employees of the organization.
  • Tools and Equipment: Must have a good knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical hand tools and be able to effectively use them (Hammers, wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and scales, pneumatic and electric drills, rivet guns, fastening tools such as clamps and clecos shop equipment such as drill presses, brakes, and shears etc.).
