Job Title: Contact Center Representative

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Contact Center Representative to join our team at Suffolk Credit Union. As a Contact Center Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our members, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members via phone, email, and chat
  • Answer member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maximize penetration of Credit Union products and services
  • Process loan applications, open accounts, and perform other tasks as needed
  • Meet established loan goals and achieve a minimum of "Satisfactory" rating on internal audits and examinations
  • Provide quality services at every member interaction and cross-sell Credit Union products and services
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalency certification
  • 1-2 years of banking/financial services experience
  • Knowledge of financial services, sales, or banking
  • Ability to express oneself clearly and articulately both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated skill in customer service and communication
  • Ability to exercise tact and responsibility in handling confidential information
  • Ability to work with direct supervision of daily activities
  • Demonstrated sales ability and achievement of goals
  • Intermediate mathematical skills required
