Discovery Life Sciences LLC is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Associate to join our team. As a Laboratory Associate, you will play a crucial role in our mission by contributing to the immunohistochemical staining of tissue samples and providing essential support to our Project Managers throughout various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform immunohistochemical staining of tissue samples with high precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize and maintain general laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, pipettes, and more.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with team members.
- Contribute to a positive team environment that values open and honest communication, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in Life Sciences or a related field.
- Familiarity with general laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC) is preferred but not required.
- Background or coursework in Pathology/Histology is a plus.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to maintain organized records.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
