Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist - Private Equity

Graham Partners, a private investment firm, seeks a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounts payable team, you will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume invoices and credit cards accurately.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly accounts payable reports and records.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
  • Set up vendors, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Operate invoice and expense software (Concur) and accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Obtain and match approvals and receipts with all payments processed.
  • Verify employee expense reimbursements and coordinate with staff regarding changes and corrections.
  • Assist with the development and improvement of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices.
  • Experience in accounts receivables preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Concur and Microsoft Dynamics preferred, but not required.
