Payroll Specialist

At Premier Orthopaedics, we are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to oversee the full payroll processing cycle. This includes verifying data inputs, initiating pay calculations, reviewing results, transmitting registers, verifying pay and tax deposits, and finalizing data with Human Resources and Finance for general ledger journal entries.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure accurate calculations of gross pay, net pay distribution, and withholdings (taxes, benefits deductions, retirement contributions, etc.).
* Maintain comprehensive digital records of each payroll cycle.
* Oversee the processing of court orders, garnishments, tax levies, and other required withholdings.

Requirements:

* Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent training and education required.
* Minimum of four (4) years payroll experience required.
* Must be able to examine documents for correctness and interpreting their accuracy.
