Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse in our Med-Surg department, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing exceptional care and making a meaningful impact on their lives. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to coordinate medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and occasional pediatric care. Utilizing the Nursing Process, you will make critical decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes for your patients. You will prioritize holistic care, addressing the age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs of your patients. You will be accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Supervisor to ensure a seamless onboarding process. You will participate in orientation on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Note:
This position may occasionally involve care of pediatric patients, but it is not dedicated to pediatric care.
