We are seeking an experienced Guest Services Specialist to join our team at A Woman's Place Drop-In Center. As a key member of our integrated team, you will play a critical role in promoting stabilization, hope, and healing for women in our community.

This challenging yet rewarding position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis management, and conflict resolution techniques. Experience working with at-risk client populations, particularly those affected by domestic violence, substance use disorder, and mental health issues, is highly desirable.

You will be responsible for providing culturally sensitive support services, including individual counseling, resources, information, outreach, and advocacy. Your expertise will help ensure that clients receive comprehensive care, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive situations with compassion, and adapt to changing circumstances with ease. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, as you will need to accurately record incidents, safety concerns, and other relevant information.

In exchange for your dedication and expertise, Community Forward SF offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.00, which reflects the value we place on your contributions. This salary is in line with industry standards and takes into account the demands of the role, as well as the costs of living in San Francisco.

A Women's Place Shelter and A Woman's Place Drop-In Center operate from 3pm-11pm, Monday through Sunday. As a Guest Services Specialist, you will be expected to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our clients.
