About the Job

We are excited to announce a Research Specialist position in the Cho laboratory at the University of California, San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative cancer immunology research and develop expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct both wet lab and computational research as necessary for chosen projects.
  2. Design and execute experiments using mouse and human samples and models.
  3. Communicate scientific results through detailed record keeping, data analysis, and presentation in lab meetings and journal clubs.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the lab and external collaborators.

Education and Experience
  • B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent) in biology, immunology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics, computer science, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Strong self-motivation for curiosity-driven scientific research and study.

Estimated Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $51,300-$65,900. As a University of California employee, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
