We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our healthcare technology management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of clinical equipment.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting. A strong background in biomedical engineering or a related field is required. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot complex technical issues, interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair clinical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve workflows
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians to promote knowledge sharing and skill development

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience
