Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire parts sales cycle
  • Engage with colleagues and customers in a respectful and professional manner
  • Effectively communicate updates regarding parts availability to customers
  • Utilize the parts catalog to identify and discuss specific components
  • Manage incoming phone inquiries, provide pricing information, and relay essential details to clients
  • Verify body shop estimates to ensure the accuracy of ordered parts and pricing
  • Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Retrieve and package orders from inventory while conducting regular stock checks
  • Notify the parts manager of any low-stock items or urgently required materials
  • Source parts that are out of stock externally and expedite orders when necessary
  • Document all internal parts requests accurately on service repair orders
  • Process payments from retail customers or secure credit approvals
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one year of experience in automotive parts sales (preferred)
  • A desire to develop in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance manuals
  • Proficient in performing calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and measurements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
