Gary Crossley Ford, a family-owned and operated dealership, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing vehicles, including recalls and module programming.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Maintain and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed and provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- ASE certifications preferred, with a Ford Electrical Certification.
- Strong automotive background and knowledge of wiring schematics.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license. This is a safety-sensitive position.
