The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Member Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience, and embodying the One Medical values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch patient care, ensuring a positive and personalized experience
  • Manage patient intake, scheduling, and follow-up appointments
  • Assist with billing and insurance inquiries
  • Contribute to team development through rounding, huddles, and problem-solving
  • Master our technology suite, including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and 1Life
  • Perform opening and closing duties, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, and feedback-driven teams
  • A proven track record of persisting through change and adapting to new challenges
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, internet navigation, and software systems

Work Environment:

This is a full-time role based in-person with our team and patients at offices in the Sunnyvale Cherry Orchard office, and support shifts in Menlo Park and Evergreen Park. Shifts are 8 hours long, scheduled any day of the week Monday-Sunday, generally between 12:30pm and 9pm. Shifts include weekends and holidays.
