Job Summary

Clemson University's College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Clinical Anatomy Faculty member to lead the development and implementation of the first year of the DVM curriculum. This full-time faculty position involves teaching and service with opportunities for research and scholarship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver a multi-modal veterinary anatomy curriculum in the Healthy Animal course series.
  • Aid in the development of anatomy lab policies and procedures.
  • Develop assessment strategies aligned with the competency-based curriculum.
  • Collaborate with faculty to ensure integration of knowledge and skills across years and courses.
  • Engage in student-centered instruction, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Oversee anatomy lab technical staff and ensure the lab has necessary equipment and specimens.
  • Aid in procurement of teaching equipment, specimens, and software.
  • Serve on CVM and campus committees.
Requirements
  • DVM, PhD, or equivalent degree.
  • 3-plus years of relevant experience in veterinary medicine or education.
  • Board certification or residency training in a veterinary specialty (ACVIM, ABVP, etc.).
  • Experience and excellence in teaching anatomy.
