Position Title: Reservations Agent
Reporting To: Guest Services Manager & Rooms Division Manager
Position Summary: Responsible for managing incoming calls and directing them to appropriate guest rooms, staff, or departments via the PBX system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone inquiries and warmly welcome potential guests using clear and articulate English communication. Attentively listen to callers to comprehend their inquiries and requests.
- Document all wake-up call requests efficiently.
- Provide comprehensive information regarding hotel amenities and services to guests.
- Understand the necessary actions to take in the event of an emergency call.
- Maintain accurate records of all calls received.
- Promote the Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center and its specific marketing initiatives.
- Address questions related to hotel facilities, services, airline partnerships, local attractions, and directions. Clearly communicate applicable deposit and guarantee policies as needed.
- Adhere to attendance policies and be consistently available for scheduled shifts.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
- Availability to work on weekends is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Capability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
