Your Role:
As a Facilities Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in facilitating memorable vacations by overseeing the maintenance and operational functions of the resort. You will be responsible for ensuring the property is well-maintained through effective management of preventive maintenance and adherence to quality standards.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Facilities Department.
  • Ensure cleanliness and functionality of both unit and common areas, maintaining standards as outlined in our Quality Control Program.
  • Collaborate with front office and support departments to manage maintenance processes and enhance owner satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and develop team members through effective coaching and incentive programs.
  • Manage financial aspects of the department, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Assign weekly schedules and daily tasks to maintenance staff, handle procurement, payroll, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and third-party contractors, including landscaping and maintenance services.
Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present ideas effectively.
  • Commitment to customer service; adept at problem-solving independently.
  • CPR certification or in progress.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Certified Pool Operators designation or in process of obtaining.
  • Physical ability to handle tools and equipment; frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Aptitude for working in various environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature extremes.
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
