Manufacturing Tooling Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and repair patterns using various materials (wood, plastic, metal) based on engineering specifications.
- Modify existing patterns or core boxes to accommodate design changes or improve casting quality.
- Inspect patterns regularly to ensure they are in optimal condition for casting operations.
- Repair damaged patterns by filling, shaping, or reinforcing them to restore functionality.
- Assemble pattern components and core boxes to form complete patterns for sand casting.
- Ensure timely delivery, retrieval, cleaning, and inspection of tooling for daily foundry production.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Patternmaking experience is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Able to complete accurate work with strong attention to detail.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, and walk.
