We are seeking an experienced Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our claims handling process, you will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for both residential and commercial claims. You will also collaborate with policyholders, insurance agents, and other involved parties to gather information and resolve claims efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting on-site inspections and assessments of property damages
- Collaborating with policyholders, insurance agents, and other involved parties
- Gathering necessary evidence, documenting findings, and preparing detailed reports
- Evaluating coverage and policy terms to determine claim validity
- Negotiating and settling claims within authorized limits
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in the insurance industry, specifically in property claims
- Strong knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage, and claim handling practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of both residential and commercial building construction
- Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools
This is a Remote-Field position, which means you will work from home and utilize a mobile office/vehicle for in-person appointments. You will be required to travel occasionally to assist in other territories. We offer flexible schedules and may require overtime and/or irregular hours.
