Job Summary
The LiRo Group is seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist, Construction Contract Administrator to join our team in Syracuse, NY. This role requires expertise in reviewing and analyzing construction claims, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures, and overseeing the construction contract.

About the Role
This position involves writing claim responses, contractor disputes, and assessing the impact of delays on project schedules and budgets. You will also be responsible for reviewing contractors' schedules in Primavera P6 as part of claims analysis, monthly contractor payment reviews, and tracking certified payrolls.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze construction claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with agency policies.
  • Write clear and concise claim responses and contractor disputes.
  • Oversee the construction contract to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Assess the impact of delays on project schedules and budgets, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Review contractors' schedules in Primavera P6 as part of claims analysis.
  • Conduct monthly contractor payment reviews and track certified payrolls.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in reviewing and analyzing construction claims.
  • Proficient in project scheduling software (Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
