About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director of Business Development to join our team at FormFactor. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and innovation through strategic partnerships and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage new business opportunities and initiatives to drive successful penetration strategy with our sales team.
  • Collaborate with customers and our factory team to assess measurement needs, determine probe card requirements, and propose solutions.
  • Use negotiation skills to close gaps between customer requirements and factory capabilities.
  • Drive feasibility analyses and define product requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospective customers.
  • Oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
  • Provide leadership in planning, designing, and implementing strategic business objectives.
  • Define vision, strategies, and tactics to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of successful customer-facing business development experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, including both small group and large audiences.
  • Proven experience speaking to a group and engaging in problem-solving dialogue with customers or partners.
  • Cross-disciplinary technical breadth and depth necessary to explain and negotiate product functionality and performance with customers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% both domestically and internationally.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $213,800 to $280,500, depending on location, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP, and paid time off.
