Job Title: Chief Business Development Officer

As a key member of the Alfi Trade Inc leadership team, the Chief Business Development Officer will play a crucial role in shaping and executing growth initiatives. This executive position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of business growth development, ensuring sustainable expansion and adjusting tactics for operational efficiency based on data analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and implement effective growth strategies that expand Alfi Trade's product collection and market presence.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify K&B trends, understand ever-evolving customer design preferences and spot emerging products and technologies.
  • Guide the product development journey from brainstorming to sourcing to launch.
  • Establish, create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of new products or initiatives.
  • Work closely with the CEO to present new marketing, new designs and new sales ideas that show promise of strong performance in key metrics.
  • Seek out and nurture partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to fuel innovation and earn preferred pricing/MOQs.
  • Lead, direct and mentor the existing Alfi Trade team to foster synergy and establish yourself as a go-to teammate.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in a senior management role within a relevant industry, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that make sense in the K&B industry and drive growth.
  • Deep understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of the K&B landscape, including market trends, current competitors and the industry at-large.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster product or process innovation, then implement creative solutions to deliver those improvements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders and your team at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve various department objectives.
  • Prior experience leading organizations through periods of change, with a focus on maintaining team morale and productivity.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling effective decision-making in scenarios you have strong influence over.
