Job Description

This role involves leading after-school programs for girls in grades K-6, focusing on developing essential skills in STEAM, leadership, entrepreneurship, life, and outdoor education. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and possess experience working with children. They must also be adaptable, flexible, and able to manage competing demands while maintaining a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and facilitate after-school program sessions for girls aged 5-13, using curriculum aligned with the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience (GSLE).
  2. Foster and maintain positive relationships with girls, parents, and school staff.
  3. Maintain accurate records and ensure necessary paperwork is completed.
  4. Build partnerships with local schools, parent organizations, and community groups to enhance the reach and impact of our programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
  • An Associate's degree in childcare or related field, or relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
