The Boys and Girls Club of Dane County invites applications for a CareerForce Build UP Program Coordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about youth development and career education.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, youth development, or a related field, and be able to coordinate and implement the CareerForce Build UP program.

About the Position

This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing the CareerForce Build UP program.

This program aims to introduce young people to construction careers through interactive and hands-on activities and programs.

The coordinator will work closely with program partners to facilitate construction discussions for students, demonstrations, and construction-related programmatic activities in local schools and organizations around Dane County.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement the CareerForce Build UP program.
  • Collaborate with program partners to facilitate construction discussions for students, demonstrations, and construction-related programmatic activities in local schools and organizations around Dane County.
  • Maintain an environment that supports volunteers and community partners.
  • Contribute to the Club climate for youth development includes program collaboration, attendance, and active participation in staff meetings and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, youth development, or a related field.
  • At least one year prior experience delivering curriculum to youth ages 5-18 years old.
  • The ability and desire to work with youth and adolescents in many settings.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with career development principles and practices.
  • Ability to travel throughout Dane County.

Salary Range

$52,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
