We are seeking an experienced Recreational Programs Coordinator to join Oak Park Nursing and Rehab in Madison. This is a fulfilling role that allows you to share your passion for activities and make a difference in the lives of seniors every day.

Job Summary

This position involves planning and coordinating activities that provide entertainment, exercise, and relaxation for our residents. Your duties will include encouraging hobbies, planning parties, crafts, games, and other engaging events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
  • Encourage hobbies and passions among our seniors
  • Organize and execute events such as parties, crafts, and games
  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent communication skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of previous experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years
  • An associate degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role
  • Previous experience working with seniors is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational and planning skills required
  • Ability to work independently is a must

The estimated salary for this role is $52,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the value we place on our staff members.
