Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Analyst focused on accounts receivable to enhance our financial processes. The successful candidate will take charge of our existing accounts receivable operations and assist in transitioning these processes to a new system. This role offers the opportunity to engage in various exciting projects once the migration is complete.

This position is part of the Finance and Accounting department and will report directly to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate payment receipt.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients regarding billing questions, discrepancies, and payment processes to facilitate prompt resolutions.
  • Assist in the transition of clients and accounts receivable functions to a new billing system, ensuring a smooth process with minimal operational disruption.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with accounting software; experience with QuickBooks Online is advantageous.
  • Excellent project management capabilities.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on a team involved in system implementations.
  • Internship or work experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of the restaurant or hospitality sector.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
