About the Role

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our research administration team, you will be responsible for managing complex research proposals, awards, and transactions related to contract and grant management. You will work closely with principal investigators, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with institutional research sponsor policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee research proposals, awards, and transactions related to contract and grant management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, grants, and other research-related documents
• Ensure compliance with institutional research sponsor policies and regulations
• Collaborate with principal investigators, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Perform complex financial analysis and customized reporting
• Develop and implement effective grant funding processes, procedures, and techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience in grant accounting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of research administration guidelines, compliance requirements, and financial regulations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
