About the Role

The University of California, Irvine seeks a highly skilled Senior Contracts and Grants Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our research administration department, you will be responsible for managing complex research proposals and awards, ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee research proposals, awards, and transactions related to contract and grant management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract and grant records
  • Analyze complex data and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Guide less experienced staff and provide training as needed
  • Collaborate with investigators and sponsors to resolve issues and ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal and post-award management, complex financial analysis, and contract and grant administration
  • Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
