Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant at Saint Joseph Health System, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in our ambulatory care setting. You will assist physicians and other healthcare providers with direct and indirect patient care, performing basic medical assisting procedures to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians
Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent and/or graduate of a medical assistant program
Certification and/or registration as a medical assistant through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA
One to three years' experience in a medical or physician office preferred
