About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Flight Mechanic to join our team at Textron Systems. As a key member of our Marine & Land Systems business area, you will be responsible for performing mechanical system tests, troubleshooting, and maintenance on our post-production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mechanical system tests and troubleshoot issues
  • Perform maintenance on mechanical systems
  • Provide mechanical support for craft operations
  • Fabricate and assemble tubes and hoses, and install mechanical systems

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal craft training and one or more years of related experience
  • Ability to read blueprints, shop orders, and drawings
  • Basic shop mathematics skills
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and extended hours as needed

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to perform medium physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 60 pounds. You must also be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
