Job Title: IT Service Desk Specialist

At Mastech Digital, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused IT Service Desk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:Technical Support:
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Assist employees with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
System Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of our IT systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to prevent downtime.
Asset Management:
  • Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of company IT assets.
  • Ensure that all IT assets are properly configured and up-to-date.
Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with employees to understand their technical needs and provide timely support.
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware and software configurations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, networking, anti-virus software, email platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
