Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Risk Policy Analyst to join our team at Barclays. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and analysing financial and regulatory policies to ensure effective management of the bank's financial risks.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial regulations and policies, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement financial and regulatory policies across the bank's departments and business units.

You will also be responsible for managing communication with regulatory authorities, participating in regulatory consultations, and providing feedback on proposed regulations. Additionally, you will advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.

In terms of salary, we offer a competitive package, estimated to be around £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyse financial and regulatory policies to ensure effective management of the bank's financial risks.
  • Manage implementation of financial and regulatory policies across the bank's departments and business units.
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities and participate in regulatory consultations.
  • Advising and influencing decision making, contributing to policy development, and taking responsibility for operational effectiveness.
