About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Credit and Risk Analyst to join our Project Finance team in New York. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in credit and risk analysis for project finance transactions, with a strong background in renewable energy and clean energy technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the credit product, including being a knowledge expert on internal credit policies, conducting annual reviews and monitoring transactions, and structuring, conducting due diligence and financial analysis of key counterparties.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Finance team to manage credit risk and structure deals in the renewable energy and energy transition sectors.
  • Develop and maintain expertise on Rabobank's credit risk policies and procedures.
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on key counterparties, including off-takers, suppliers, and guarantors.
  • Prepare credit applications and analyze counterparty risks.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in credit and risk analysis for project finance transactions.
  • Strong financial statement analysis skills and ability to evaluate business viability and credit risk.
  • Familiarity with credit rating methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
