Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team at Scott Kia Of Springfield. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial controls, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and schedules.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, and assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and tax payments.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, including budget and commission reports in Excel and Word.
  • Process and manage accounts receivable, including making collection calls and preparing daily bank deposits.
  • Clear checks and post accounting entries, and pay off cars from floorplan as they are sold and funded from various banks.
  • Implement new policies and procedures to ensure organization and efficiency, and title work and accounts payable as needed.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and floorplan statements, and create and maintain precise and accurate charts and reports.
