Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Design Sales Representative to join our team. As a Design Sales Representative, you will be responsible for servicing qualified leads and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Your primary objective will be to match our products and services to clients' needs, successfully close appointments, and execute all systems and procedures to ensure client satisfaction.

You will work closely with our District leadership and field support team to help you reach your sales objectives and take full advantage of our generous compensation plan.

As a Design Sales Representative with 3 Day Blinds, you will have the opportunity to earn a nationwide average of $94,000 annually in commission and bonus after a year with the company.

Responsibilities
  • Expertly match our products and services to clients' needs
  • Successfully close appointments by demonstrating our unique Value Proposition and building trust and credibility
  • Properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure client satisfaction and avoid order errors
  • Measure, record, and configure specifications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide high-level client service and follow up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
  • Be flexible to the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling, time off requests, and attending team meetings and training
Requirements
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner who is adaptable, self-reliant, resourceful, and handles competing priorities
  • Understands and carries out oral and written instructions and requests clarification when needed
  • Expresses thoughts, ideas, concerns in a positive, respectful, and productive manner
  • Works independently but also functions well as part of a team
  • High school degree or equivalent is required; some college work is preferred
  • Availability to work full-time five days per week, one being a weekend day
  • Proficiency with using a PC and Microsoft Windows-based programs
  • Ability to quickly learn and follow new technology processes and systems
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
  • Can lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • 2-5 years of relationship selling experience in either in-home or outside sales, preferably in specialty or custom products/services, or retail environment in a similar field
  • Education or experience in design and decor is preferred
  • Experience with POS systems is preferred
